Crisis Communications

I am motivated by creating opportunities for meaningful engagement that result in authentic and lasting connections through integrated marketing and communications solutions.

I present on non-profit integrated marketing and communications best practices, including a workshop titled: "Audience Development & Community Engagement" as part of the ARTSFAIRFAX WORK-SMART workshop series designed to teach best practices and innovative approaches to the business side of the arts.

Most recently, I was the Communications Director for Venture Philanthropy Partners (VPP)+Raise DC, a philanthropic investment organization in the heart of Washington, DC that builds strong organizations and strategic networks that measurably improve the lives of children and youth throughout Greater Washington.

Previously, I was the Director of Marketing and Communications for the Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring thoughtful innovation and contributing to the betterment of the $900 billion equipment leasing and finance sector.

I served as Director of Marketing and Communications for the largest multi-disciplinary theatre arts and education organization for young people in the Mid-Atlantic region. Recipient of The Washington Post's 2012 Award for Excellence in Non-profit Management (honorable mention), Imagination Stage inaugurated its pilot alliance with The National Theatre—The National Children's Theatre—in July 2015. I developed the integrated marketing and communications strategy and led my team to successfully execute the massive outreach resulting in a highly successful endeavor for the alliance.

Additional roles include: the promotion of Washington, DC's acclaimed Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company; spearheading marketing and communications efforts for Chicago’s premiere theatre for families, Emerald City Theatre Company; and promoting 625+ annual programs for the Chicago Office of Tourism and Culture (Millennium Park), Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs’ Storefront and Studio Theaters, World Music Festival: Chicago, and the Chicago Dancing Festival.
